We were brought in by the world-renowned production company Academy Films to help create and turn the picturesque Yorkshire Dales and Tarn Hill Inn (the highest Inn in the land they’ll have you know!) into a snowed in retreat where it’s all about spending #ChristmasTogether…
…Great location for flying the Alex Mini, quite a tricky task for the Post Production Team
THE SOLUTION
For this we were flying the Arri Alexa Mini, with the ArriRAW licence for the Post Production Team, maximising the footage quality so they could CGI in all that fluffy snow covering all of the Yorkshire Dales and the Tarn Hill in. We were also able to offer up shots of the artists trekking over the snow, which they were able to composite into some of the aerial shots later.
