THE CHALLENGE
We’ve recently had the pleasure to work with Mallison Television Productions on a number of commercials, specifically on this occasion with the UK Army. MTP had the challenge of creating a series of adverts for the #ThisIsBelonging campaign.
While shooting all over Scotland, we were required to capture a few sequences in Glen Coe, capturing the troops as they endeavoured the rough scottish terrain while out on a training exercise.
THE SOLUTION
This was a great exercise for our Alta 8 and Alexa Mini package. We also had the opportunity to get a hold of the Kowa Anamorphic Lenses, a truly unique and vintage glass developed in the 1960s that are very light weight and offer some fantastic imagery and great lens flare!
Shooting ArriRAW, we were able to get a number of flyby shots, travelling low over the terrain as well as high scenic perspectives to give the production a number of options for the various ad campaigns they will distribute over 2018!
