THE CHALLENGE
Working closely with the award winning independent production house Red Production Company, we were assigned with several tasks throughout the first series to help the crew create a montage for the opening of it’s first episode, introducing the locations and the artists in a stylised ‘one shot’ bonanza.
THE SOLUTION
This was a great challenge for us as it really used the drones and our equipment to its full potential. With some extremely clever cut points and post production, we were able to build a sequence that merged several shots together. Utilising their Panavision techno crane and Steadicam, they merged their parts of the journey with the aerial. Together we were able to build a journey that linked together several locations, interior and exterior, that gave the illusion of a singular camera move and unique ‘one shot’.
